How do you identify reproductions vs originals?

Please note I'm not asking to identify this painting. I was hoping to learn how to become more experienced in differentiating between an original or older reproductions and mass produced reproductions for tourists, whether the same version of an art piece is an antique or vintage for example.

I posted pictures here because of a recent brain twister I experienced and was hoping to hear from the community how you would research to solve the puzzle.
