I'm curious to know how Arc will display a result that is indeed the best for me. I wouldn't be surprised if the company's new revenue model gave priority to advertisers who pay to be shown more frequently in search result - even without us knowing. I don't want Arc to decide for me what I'm going to see; in fact, Google's own algorithm already does this, but at least we can choose from various options.
Additionally, not everything that appears to be new is actually good. The way we use the internet is basically the same as always because it's the basics that work. I'm afraid Arc is taking this idea of personalization too seriously.
My advice to the team: want to make money? Then build a subscription plan where the browser doesn't have telemetry and doesn't destroy the RAM. I'd pay for that.

I work in marketing and this is true. I always take care not to create unrealistic expectations in my audience while at the same time not appearing dull. Basically, if you're going to launch something new, let the product speak for itself and let the audience decide if it's truly great. Of course, the product also needs to be presented as such, and that's the big dilemma. Steve Jobs could teach something here.
