My guy has what I’m assuming is a wound and I’m a little baffled at how it happened. There are only tetra, platys, and a baby bristle nose in the tank. Could this be caused by a parasite or fungus? It definitely doesn’t look like it to me but idk. The only other thing I can imagine is it is the size and shape of my plecos mouth (maybe a bit bigger) but iv never had this issue with any community tank iv had with a bristle in it so that seems like it might be a stretch.

I recently checked parameters because as you can see from the sparse fish and bare spaces plant wise i’m slowly redoing the tank so I’m watching those before and after each change I make. I added a pic of the tank just incase it’s useful for anything.
