Name: Baby Girl
Breed: common Petco Betta breed
Background: Rescued in May 2023 (received free from Petco because she was lopsided, fins rotting, inactive). It is now August 2023 and she grew into her colors and is much healthier. Unfortunately, she is starting to lunge at her tank mates (the pgymy cories and shrimp) and go figure, its because she's much bigger than them now so she has a predatory drive. She used to swim with them and leave them alone. I have not witnessed any fin nipping and she really just lunges and stops to disperse the school but I would rather not take the risk. I had a betta before and came back once to 2 dead fish. I have her back in her betta cup and she is not happy. She wants freedom.
Any takers? She'll need a 5 gal minimum and ideally just by herself. We can meet at the Mission Bend Petco.
Update as of 8/29/23: Baby Grl has a new home and owner! Thank you all.
