So I've taken some time to look at every university that offers ED, and I've narrowed my selection down to two choices: WashU and Rice. I like St. Louis a bit more than Houston, but I really like the campus and the architecture of Rice, though WashU is nice as well. There's also the fact that Rice has a better environmental engineering program than WashU, which would likely be my major were I to be admitted to either of these schools under ED. I understand that the chances of actually being admitted to either university regardless are extremely low, but for the sub-5% chance that I do actually gain acceptance, I want to be as well informed as possible about each university in its entirety before making my decision. Is there any extra information that anyone could give me, or sources about the schools?
