I just recently discovered that I have pretty close to Full Aphantasia. Been scrolling through this subreddit and found myself agreeing with the majority of the relatable posts so started thinking about trends I've experienced related to imagery.
Does anyone else not really care about holding on to photos they've taken/ been sent for future personal use?
Sure, you might want to show you're kids or grandchildren what you got up to in your early days. BUT, there's little inner motivation to indulge on pictures that should hold meaning to you ie. Family photos, pics from travelling, friends doing stupid shit. This isn't to say you don't enjoy looking at them when you come across these pictures.
I'm a 21/M and could never understand why my mates love to scroll through their phone to find that one time Josh looked cooked as fuck or why my family keep family photos on the walls.
