I have pretty much total visual aphantasia, and am also very dyspraxic, and have always wondered if there’s a link between my lack of ability to visualise and my poor proprioception. I think it definitely makes sense that it is at the root of my lack of sense of direction, and would seem to be the same principle just scaled down, in the same way I can’t imagine which room in my own house is above me right now, and then can’t keep track of what both of my hands are doing at once, It has a certain logic to me, and I wondered if there was any correlation between strong visual aphantasia and dyspraxia, or if anyone else here has the same experience - or even, the opposite!
