NEED ADVICE/ how do i deal with irrational anxiety?
Post Body

any ideas of how i can deal with some totally irrational anxiety? i live in a cute little house that i rent from the owners of a small family business i work for. i’ve been here a year and the rent is extremely subsidized for my area. it’s an older house but i love it here. i’m a single mom, work full time with a 7 year old boy. my mom is partially disabled so can’t really afford a place on her own, so she lives with me also. anyways, that’s the background. i am constantly having anxiety about this house because im just afraid the day will come where they don’t want to rent to me anymore for whatever reason weather it’s i’m not a good enough employee or my house is a mess. example, today irrational anxiety, there is something wrong with my refrigerator (i actually work for an appliance company so this is NO big deal) infact the owner of the house is the guy who fixes the fridges. my anxiety is that he is going to come into my house and see its messy (not the cleanest house that’s for sure but definitely not anything scary like hoarders) and in my head he will think im gross and kick me out, or think i did something to break my fridge, i know both of these things are so silly but can’t seem to shake them !
