Anime with absurdist/surreal worldbuilding

I am looking for something that has normal-ish characters but the world around them goes absolutely ham to the point of it getting incomprehensible.
I watched {Sonny Boy} a few months ago and absolutely loved it. Now, feel the same way with the currently ongoing {Train to the End of the World}. I also enjoyed {Serial Experiments Lain}.
Are there any more anime like these? I'm also open to other unique world concepts too
