Scanner prices and DSLR setups?

Post Body

Hi All,

Looking to do a budget home setup for 35mm B&W. Develop and scan at home. Mostly for online and some small prints.

I'm on a tight budget and right now even though I see people mentioning older Epsons and Plustek scanners at $200 or less, everywhere I look online they are like over $400? Is that just EBay? Or have prices gone up from people being stuck at home?

Anyway, I have tripod, old iPad, and some macro k-mount and Canon FD lenses already. Would it be more cost effective to simply buy a cheap DSLR (like a K10 or K20) used online than get a scanner? Or I just looking in the wrong place for cheap scanner deals?

Thanks.
