Pain on the other side of the anus post surgery?
Post Body

So I have had LIS surgery about a month and a week ago and I feel that the side that had the painful fissure I intended to get the procedure for is quite alright now. However, the other side of my anus (right side) isn't being kind to me. It only started hurting after the procedure with BMs and the pain would come and go along with the pain of the procedure itself. I was following up with my CRS for 2 weeks after surgery, following sitz baths routine and taking my medicine as prescribed, and I told him about the pain that's not on the side of the fissure, he said it was the site of an excised hemorrhoid he had removed during surgery and it should be alright after a while. So any clues as to if this could be another fissure waiting to torment me? Or is it something that should pass on its own? P.S: I had a bad episode of diarrhea before the pain started coming back again but still no pain from the side that's been operated on.
