Delta Sky Lounges no longer available if you are on a basic economy flight

I just learned the hard way that if you fly basic economy with Delta, it doesn't matter if you are Medallion Diamond Status or the POTUS, you can't use the Delta lounge. What's worse is you can't even upgrade the basic economy ticket to anything else so you can even use the lounge. Apparently I missed the memo about this change on January 1.
