So. I (19m) have a friend (21) I used to date but we broke up after a while and we both realised we were much better off as just friends. We both had desires for a physical relationship so we became friends with benefits for a good while with the promise that if one of us gets in a relationship it all stops. They're much more outgoing than me and after a while got a boyfriend. Our relationship stopped but they kept making remarks of how similar me and their new boyfriend are. We always knew they had a type for someone who kinda shares my appearance. But ever since they started dating they tell me about him very often. Just recently they told me how they cried their eyes out because it was 3 hours since they were together. I don't have many in person friends. Only them and one other and I hardly get to see both. I express my loneliness often but they won't stop talking about the boyfriend. I did kind of treasure our physical moments as it felt I was finally doing something somewhat normal that most people can do but I find it hard to find new people. I am autistic with possible adhd. I spoke to the boyfriend once and he kinda made a snide remark about me as he knew I was an ex. My friend kinda shut him up so I know they don't like or respect me less than before. But every time they bring it up l admit I get jealous. And jealousy I know is a bad thing but with how lonely I and just generally boring my life is just hearing them talk about this makes it even harder. I know they have a right to talk about him but would it be really bad if I just asked them to stop talking about him unless l ask? WIBTA?
