Son has bad cough 50% of the year due to allergies….

I’ve been to multiple express cares, emergency departments, family doctors. I can’t seem to get him any relief. This is literally almost all day when his allergies flair up. He’s 14 years old and I feel terrible for him. I’ve been told constantly it’s post nasal drip. We’ve literally tried almost everything and it doesn’t stop the cough. Anyone else been here? What do you do? The one thing that did work a few years ago was the cough syrup with codeine but of course it has been banned for kids under 18.
