Would advanced A.I really destroy the job market??
Post Body

A.I would be a BLESSING for logistics worldwide. If we even get a truly "sentient" artificial intelligence, would it make a lot of jobs obsolete? Absolutely 100%. Like wall street used to be full of Stock brokers who would yell over each other to buy or sell and they made money hand over fist. But what happened? Computers took over. You might disagree that the stock market is inefficient in the first place, but it's fair to say the stock market hasn't changed drastically since digitalization with one single exception: people can buy and sell faster than ever.

Logistically, doing something complex like constructing a building or launching a new product is hard. Granted A.I and robots controlled by A.I will probably be able to take over a lot of the bulk "do you like this design"..."how about this one?".."and this next one??" or the hazardous work we do. But now, instead someone can say to an "a.i make me 50 variations on this" and it does and then they pick the best one. That's amazing! Now you don't need 5 or so people working tirelessly to create a product 40 hours a week! Business is going to go at light speed because we can make things that much faster! That doesn't mean 4 people loose their jobs, that just means 4 people will be hired somewhere else as an "A.I art consultant" or whatever. That's 4 new products and 4 new companies that all have a new product. Logistics are going to become easier than ever. It's almost impossible to predict the impact this will have on the future and people will most certainly loose jobs. But there will be new jobs and those jobs will be filled because it will be possible to innovate faster than ever.
