Where do I even begin? Probably right around the same place that many of us are. I see the commercials for this year's spate of Hallmark and Hallmark-like movies (yeah I do watch them sometimes!), and while they do hit me in that gooey romantic place they also make me a little sad. I can remember feeling that way before; like the electricity and heat you have with someone and the passion that it leads to. It's been a long time since I've felt that way. The routines are comfortable, and at times I feel more like just a supporter and a caretaker. I'd love to find someone that gives me that charge and spark again!

Ideally, I'd like to find someone that wants to form an emotional connection before a physical one. I'd love to know all about you, hear about you day, know your stories, and swap dumb jokes and sarcastic or flirty banter. Ideally we have a common interest to geek out over together, or we could pick something up! Would be cool to have a reading buddy, gym partner, or someone to recommend a good streaming binge. Maybe in true Hallmark tradition we'll learn to make Christmas cupcakes together and inexplicably compete to save an animal shelter on the day before Christmas!

A little more about me (beyond my Christmas movie issues): I am mostly a pretty normal suburban guy. Have a career I love and a good friend circle, and probably too many hobbies and interests. I love to travel and am usually planning my next trip! I also travel for work a few times a year, so I get to see cities around the country that I get to dig into. I also love live theater, sports, reading, cooking, diy, games, and much more. I'm generally pretty available, but between work, family, and the day to day of life sometimes I'll be a little more sparse, but I try to let someone know beforehand. I don't ghost, and if something isn't working I tend to be pretty up front. I also love voice notes as well as texts as it helps me feel closer to someone.

Some things about the person I am looking for! I would love to meet someone kind, funny, intelligent, and available. Dog and cat people both encouraged. If you've got things that you are passionate about I would love to hear all about them, as I love trying new things and learning about things I might have otherwise missed. Big plus if you are a romantic. I want to hear about your day and your ups and downs, but do NOT want to do the thing where we bash our spouses. I DO want to be your confidant, cheerleader, pick me up and more! Hopefully you'll want to be the same for me as well.
