Be funny - be beyond funny. Be witty, have some one liners, know how to take a joke and laugh at yourself. I make fun of myself and laugh at myself constantly. Know when something is a joke. Don’t get so defensive immediately!

Be interested in one guy - this one is so bizarre to me. We all have our home situation. I thought we would all be here for one other situation. NOT SO FAST. Some people here apparently are juggling a dozen others like we are at the circus. How? Why? Not for me. If you want one and only one dude I’m your guy.

Be in a dead-ish bedroom. I know, i know, that term is just exhausting just to read, but i tend to relate better to someone in the same boat as i am with this. I’m not a “cake eater” by any means… i know, another TERM!

Be on the east coast and/or willing - bc i want to leave open the possibility of meeting if the stars all align. Not to say that some distance isnt insurmountable but i want to be realistic.

Be 35-50 - I’m 45. I like this age range. In fact i prefer closer to my age but i would never shy away from someone younger or older that is a connection for us.

Be kind - don’t be an asshole. You know if you are… and you know if you are going to be in one of these relationships. Be sane and patient and understanding. If we connect we will find our own patterns that work for us.

Be interesting- i know common interests work (and if they are there with us…COOL) but who cares if we have different likes. In fact, maybe you can enlighten and educate me on something new. Connection isn’t dictated by “i like hiking and so does she”… even though i like hiking lol.

Be engaging - there is nothing worse than one word answers, pulling teeth, no questions, etc. It’s amazing you women don’t know who you are but perhaps you don’t need to meet halfway because Reddit is a sausage factory. If you reply to me please participate in making our partnership. It won’t work if you don’t.

Finally… me…. I am all of the above… plus live in Maryland, 45 years old, active, professional career, funny, giving, want a connection to make me (AND YOU) feel alive again more than you know….
