Anybody else share this view that of all the things that are enjoyable about being with someone, that initial 12 month period where you canāt keep your hands and mouths off each other? Thatāsā¦.pretty goddamn awesome and some of the best there is? Long āmake outā sessions to borrow from the US - thereās not much that tops it. Yes, sex is fantastic but so is kissing and thatās a hill Iād be willing to die on.
How do you cope when youāre in a LTR or a marriage and you just stop doing this with your spouse? Are you supposed to just accept it?
Iām finding it hard to. Iām a little romantic (and no, this isnāt a humblebrag) and I get off on touch and kissing and little gestures of appreciation and when youāve got busy lives, jobs, a family - I can see why the above starts to get forgotten.
Anyone else feel this way? Things arenāt bad enough to leave the relationship but you just miss certain bits that you can tell arenāt coming back anytime soon?
