Just had a call with a recruiter ( the job titled parcel sorter / freight handler ) when came to medical and previous work injury, i lied and said i had none. and also when asked if i can lift 20kg again i lied and said i can, even tho i still have some work restrictions. i had arm and shoulder injured almost 6 months ago at work while dealing card at the casino. i claimed workers comp and did MRI, everything's came out normal expect shoulder which showed mild bursitis , did physiotherapy and now left on my own. but the claim hasn't been closed yet. i still have pains on my arm and shoulder and cant perform repeattative work for long hours. Recently i was doing the similar contact job for the past 2 weeks so thought i could handle. Also i need to do work to pay bills.
so i lied and didn't reveal any of this to the recruiter. i feel i should just have told the truth even tho it meant losing this opportunity. idk what to do now. its Friday today. she said she gonna send email regarding all documents i will need to send and has set up a interview on Tuesday. i am thinking of calling her and telling the truth on Monday. what do you guys say? will i still have any chance after that?
should have just told the truth when first asked. regreting
