Before joining bachelors I was studying diploma and it was really loose with palgarism things. They never checked for it. About 2 months ago my bachelor started. Currently i am studying my forth subject. All of our classes are online. We students become friends so we could help eachother with the class assessment.

So the thing is, for my last assessment i asked one of my friend for help. The assessment contained 4 task each of holding 10%. So in total its was of 40%. I am really careless with my assessment. Specially when its comes to assessment where you have to write long paragraph. So i just submitted all of her work just by paraphraseing. Actually i was over duedate on first three of the tasks but i submitted anyway along with the last assessment task 4. And request the instructor of our class to consider my late assesments and give some marks so i could pass this subject. I did this via email

He replyed that with.

"Thanks for submitting your A4 Tasks. 

As for Tasks 1 to 3, you need to put them in the right area so remove them all in Task 3.

The main thing that I have discovered is that a lot of it has been copy pasted from another student's work. This also applies to A4 Task 4, where it was 97% similar to another student.

I'm giving you a one-off chance to write new assessments, put them in the necessary area and submit them to me by Thursday 7th October 2021, 5 pm. You can simply remove your old drafts and re-upload the new ones.

Again, your paper had multiple copy pasted paragraphs/sentences. Try to paraphrase, use your own words or learn how to use direct quotations properly. 

If you are not able to resubmit, I will put this through for academic misconduct/plagiarism which will most likely also yield a mark of "zero."

Around this time my depression was really getting bad. So I was feeling really lazy and didnt wanted to do anything outside of my regular work. He had gave me 2 days of time. I was busy with work and also at free time i procastinate it. And did it at last 2hours due time.

I did the task 2 and 4 myself. Which had the plagarism of 55% and 0%. And other two. I again just copied , paraphase and submit it. I was in a hurry and didnt think twice and submitted it.

So just yesturday my friend got an email to attend meeting regarding the plagarism misconduct. She attend the meeting today online. And they said that it was her fault that she shared her work with me. By the end of the meeting, they didnt accept any of her reasoning. And emailed that she will receive reduced marks and will be recorded in the misconduct register.

Threy havent emailed me anything yet. I am really scared that they will come after me now. I am also feeling really guilty and bad for her. Why havent they contacted me yet? Why they made it all her fault?

Why can't they just give us warning for now. And forgive us? What can I do in this situation?
