So for context I recently went to an orientation for this university course where I got to meet people including him, the guy I’m referring to in this post.
We exchanged some small talk throughout the orientation but nothing too telling or deep.
Anyway at the end of the day after some small talk where I had basically said that I was excited to meet new people and make new friends and connections with people, I worked up the courage to ask this guy for his number and he said yes. I was super excited in that moment as I had never straight up asked for a guys number before and was prepared to have him say no.
The evening after we said goodbye until the next week we exchanged a text or two basically saying that we’ll see each other Monday and to have a good weekend.
I then decided to send a text to him going along the lines of - ‘So what do you usually do on your weekends or days off? What are your favourite hobbies?’ - and he hasn’t replied for the last few days since. Keep in mind I sent this text within the same hour he had told me to have a good weekend so I’m not sure if I came on too strong here.
I just sent him a text asking if he was ready for the start of the term and he also hasn’t replied and I’m starting to worry if I shouldn’t have sent it in the first place and just waited for tomorrow to see him.
Does anyone have any advice this? Have I messed up already with him?
