Post Body

Hi all!

I want to preface by saying I’m a 20 y/o author looking to write about a lesbian teenage girl in the early 2000s. Obviously during this time I was still peeing my pants and watching Blues Clues so I wasn’t able to live through this era as a functioning human being.

Although it’s not a perfect time, and homophobia is still extremely prevalent I’d like to think that at least in the US we have made progress since then. I feel like it was a completely different time and I’d love to hear more about it.

I’ve been doing some research about this but I’d love some first hand accounts from any one willing to share their experiences. If you aren’t comfortable sharing on my post please feel free to DM me.

Thank you!
