I tore my achilles recently. I’m scheduled for surgery tomorrow. I was kinda chillin and just taking ibuprofen when I got up and before bed but with surgery approaching I’m told I can’t take those so I’m kinda just writhing in pain during sleep. It feels like a severe cramp in my calf. Are there any other people that have gone through this? Does this continue after surgery? Any support outside of ice? I guess after surgery I can use painkillers etc again but I would love to sleep well before surgery tomorrow.
