Need some help with thermal putty/pads problem

So basically a few days ago I did maintenance on my laptop, replaced the old thermal paste with mx-4 and made the stupid mistake of replacing the pink thermal putty with some cheap pads from Amazon and now the GPU hits 90° while gaming (the CPU temps are fine I guess, the highest I remember was 75°) and obviously I need to replace them for something better.

I've been reading some posts from both here and the Acer forums, still, I'd like to ask you all based on your experience, what should I buy? I've seen some people recommending K5 putty, others saying U6 pro and some saying to buy both putty and pads.
