Cannot use duel channel for RAM

I have an ASRock B760 Pro RS WiFi motherboard, Intel i9 13900K CPU, 2 x 16 GB DDR5 Ram. My RAM is in slots B2/A1. The manual says I should be using B2/A2 to get duel channel but when I do my system will not boot. RAM is a matching set AFAIK.
Things I have tried. using B1/A1, upgrading BIOS, reset BIOS.
What am i missing?
