Hey, finally done with lectures today? Great, I’ve been waiting out here for ages, I thought you said you were gonna be done 15 minutes ago… it overran? Are you sure you weren’t just stalling for time? Uh huh, sure keep telling yourself that, like I said before it’s gonna be fine, besides I already told him I would introduce you a week ago and you don’t wanna keep them waiting right? Exactly. Should we set off? Great, my place isn’t far from here.

Class today was so boring, they had us doing statistics, I mean I did not study that hard for my maths exams just so I could do more maths when I got here, and I mean it wasn’t even the easy stuff you could use a calculator for… hmm? Well of course you’d find it easy but unfortunately some of us weren’t blessed with good maths skills, which is why it sucks that they’re making us all do it… I should have payed more attention to what was on the course when I signed up? Hey- how dare you make a logically sound argument against me, I thought we were friends, but yeah sorry to complain at you. How are you? Fine huh? Of course, that’s why you’re practically shivering, what’s on your mind?

You want me to tell you about them? Hmm… well, they’re kind, funny a little bit dumb sometimes but it’s charming… mostly. They’re pretty strong, oh and pretty tall… sometimes it feels like I should get a step ladder when I’m hanging out with them. You two are pretty similar, I think you’ll get along with each other.

Oh one more small thing… they’re a T-rex... what’re you looking so nervous for? It’s not like they’re gonna bite your head off or something… probably. I already made them promise they wouldn’t try to eat you… or at least I think they promised? It’s hard to tell sometimes when you can’t really look them in the eye…

How did we meet? Well it’s a funny story actually, so I was at a convention and when I saw them I thought it was like… a really good cosplay or something so I went over to complement them on their costume, maybe pick up some advice and somehow we ended up getting coffee, I remember thinking it was a little weird that they never took the suit off but at the same time it looked like it would take a while to get on and off so I didn’t question it… Until they came to the second date in it and well… it turns out I’m dating a T-rex, how does it work? Surprisingly well actually, I guess since humans weren’t around when dinosaurs first evolved they don’t see us as prey, it’s pretty great actually… despite the language barrier… and the size difference… and their fully carnivorous diet making cooking a little difficult but I digress.

I’m excited for you two to meet, I have some movies planned, a couple videogames, we… can’t really play board games since with their stubby little arms they can’t really move the pieces all that well… if you thought playing monopoly against humans took a while you don’t even wanna know how long it took when we tried playing… I still keep finding my missing posters every now and then… But yes, it should be super fun and I think you guys will get on great.

Guys please stop fighting, I know one of you’s a T-rex and the other’s a velociraptor but surely we can all get along, I mean we all eat meat here right? that’s a bonding point?

Huh… it’s almost like this was a bad idea or something… I guess I should get the tranquilisers again… third time this week…
