After eating my dinner yesterday, I suddenly had heart palpitations to 170 bpm then a constant 140. so after calling 111, I went down to A&E. Had an ECG and four vials of Blood. ECG came back normal & pressure was 160/120. Chatted to the doctor as the bloods were all normal, assuming they were checking for the heart & they reckon it was anxiety ( 4 months ago I split up with my long-term partner and now going out with someone new, but it’s not working) They think what’s happening is that when I think about those situations, my pulse quickens and then snowballs which could be turning turn into Afib. I think the real episode I had three weeks ago was a combination of all those things. So basically your brain is a very powerful thing and can do serious damage to your heart Electrical Workings. It’s still in progress, and I’m getting all the work done by the GP and got an appointment for a therapist in two weeks .
