Does anyone ever feel overwhelmed by what seem small things?
Post Body

I've been looking into emotional dysregulation as it relates to ADHD and can confirm it is real. It's incredibly annoying because I have my house, a family, I'm getting back on track financially etc yet one small insignificant thing can mess me up.

My psychiatrist today spoke about her seeing a sense of distress in me. She is not wrong. But she gave me Paroxetine (Paxil), along with my Vyvanse, and I really really don't want to go back on SSRIs.

She said it's to deal with the emotional problems, but I think that much of that is to do with the fact that I had to leave my friends and city behind and move to this sh!tty city in July where I don't know anyone.

What I need is friends and connection (treatment too). Although, have ADHD, it's no easy feat. However, the Venvanse helps with this and gives me more motivation to maintain friendships. It's unfortunate that this city is known for being difficult to make friends in

But she confirmed ADHD combined, rather than just inattentive (though predominantly inattentive), so there's that

Any advice fellow ADHD buds? Or, experiences like mine?
