Hi, I've never been able to share a success story since I've been diagnosed with ADHD (less than a year ago) because the stuff I've been doing in my life is really hard for me (med school)
And due to my lack of organization and depression I've never been able to find the will of driving, ( in Italy you can take the exam from age 18 onward) or better, the will of attending the driving lessons. In the last two months I've been struggling with the instructors mostly for the practice and their manners, whenever I fucked up something they screamed and threatened me (screaming "you will never pass if you do things like that") without any consideration about how a person would feel after that behaviour.
Today I was really nervous to fuck up and I didn't and now I have my brand new driver's license and... I wanted to share with you this small achievement, considering that it looks like ADHD people are not the best drivers someone else out there might feel like the task can be impossible and I wanted to reassure them: if I made it you can make it too!
TLDR I took my driver's license and I wanted to share it.
