I could have sworn there was a point recently where some sites, including YouTube, disabled infinite scroll due to backlash over the addictive nature of it, but asking around now no one has any recollection of this and I canāt find any mention of it through a google search, so Iām guessing my brain just made up something that never happened.
Regardless, my recommended feed on my YouTube app (iOS) has had a stopping point for awhile now. Itās been really helpful for me, and nearly every day I watch videos until I hit the point where I canāt keep scrolling. Thatās how Iāve been controlling my usage, along with time limits. However this morning I just kept scrolling, and scrollingā¦no matter how far I scrolled I couldnāt reach the āend.ā Is infinite scrolling back? Was it ever gone, or did I have a bug for about a year? Is there a way to disable infinite scroll? Does anyone know anything about this?
