Feeling the need to do things on your own
Post Body

Does anyone else feel the need to do things themselves and not accept help?

My house is disorganized. I am trying to take care of it, but I am having a hard time doing so. I have unmedicated ADHD, Inattentive type, fwiw.

My parents are willing to help, but they will then never let me hear the end of it. The whole "it's been 30 years and he hasn't learned" talk is unbearable to me. It also doesn't help with my marriage (my wife already has a few issues with my family)

I told my family don't take it personally, people with ADHD often feel this way. They were still not happy..

Does anyone else also insist on doing work on your own?
