Does therapy work for anyone?
Post Body

Hey I’m F (21) my adhd has progressed since I was diagnosed at age 14. I’m in a relationship and I feel like my adhd has been affecting us. I keep interrupting, talking too fast/ much, not fully listening, changing subject when it’s a serious conversation, try to do things in a serious conversation. I feel like when I focus to not do one thing I do the other then switch to focus in that thing and forget about the first thing. I’m consulting with a doctor about therapy and medication but I don’t want to go on medication I’m curious has therapy worked for anyone else? Should I give it a try ? Im not a big fan of therapy I suck at attending and staying fully focused I feel like it’s a chore then helping myself and I hate it. But I’m willing to try my best to focus on friends/ family/ and my relationship. (My bf knows about my adhd and helps me know when I start to interrupt and etc. and it helps me become aware.)
