Here is a roleplay idea, I think is fun and interesting to play. You are the teacher/professor and im the college student.

So cause of some health pandemic, all classes are given online. You demand all the camera's to be turned on, so you can see them. Some other students and I refused to turn on the camera, but eventually you demanded it. So we all turned it on, you could see in the room and you could see that my camera did not have the best quality. But you could see enough that I live in some rundown house, which looks like a squatter's house.
I sit there nervously for my camera, I keep looking around to check if I am safe.

You kept giving your class, teaching about some subject, but kept a nervous eye on me. As you were teaching, you could see some movement by me in the background. Seeing two people screaming and fighting. You could see me get more zoned out and smaller, hugging my knees, biting my nails, but secretly sucking the top of my thumb.

As you got concerned, so you finish the classed, hurriedly closing the online class, before you rushed towards my house while calling the police. Saving me from the dangerous living situation. I was frozen in fear in the same spot. You could see the signs of regression, so you took me in.
