I think lots of people who dislike abdl are just being straight up ablest.
I know odd claim but I do have my personal anecdotal experience and so I’m wondering if anyone else thinks this might sound right.
Ok so I’m someone who’s incontinence isn’t the worst, but it still there I am a 24/7 user by force, and don’t I still deserve to see myself in a sexual light?
Like I don’t have a choice unless I wanna pee on the floor. I still get to see myself sexually and to say I don’t get to bc of my disability is totally and ablest thing. Now obviously if people with disabilities like something there will be people without that do, just how number work out. But to imply that they are wrong is to also imply that the disability is inherently bad.
As for the ab side The same thing can be done for mental disabilities, I also have them and lots of cptsd my coping and healing is not evil. It is how people continue through the atrocities of life. Brod statement but most people have mental health issues, or they have found the coping that works for them.
With all that in mind to actually have a disgust of people that represent what disability can look like 👀.
Anyway I know this isn’t exactly gonna stop hate at all, people will still think that abdl is pedos or whatever. But I really want something to throw at them and frankly they might actually just be ablest
