Advice on BCBA Transitions

Post Body

So, I'm an RBT on my first case, and I got absurdly lucky with my first client and BCBA. The client is super easygoing, moderate to high functioning, and genuinely enjoys therapy, we're mostly working on social skills, and his ability to ask questions and carry on conversations. The little guy doesn't even need a BSP, just super well behaved all around. I also just clicked immediately with my BCBA. She's been really supportive about training me, and has been really flexible about meeting our clients needs, for example she pretty much immediately shortened his sessions as he was clearly getting overwhelmed by having to hours of ABA after a full day of school (I've heard horror stories about people being forced to keep trying to meet targets while a client has a full meltdown).

That said, I've been working about 4-6 weeks and she got an incredible opportunity to head up a new ABA program at a small company. I'm kind of freaking out. Our company is really big and a chain, so the only person I've actually spoken to in person from company is my BCBA, and I have no clue what to expect. She's said there could be a new BCBA as soon as next week, that they will likely change the clients entire program, and that supervision will likely be via tele-health. She's also mentioned that the company expects the 40 hours of training RBTs get to be sufficient training to know everything. We've also been training very loosely with this client, varying the SDs, and not really doing DTT because he quickly memorizes responses, and I'm worried the new BCBA will think I'm being innacurate. Any advice on making the transition work would be super helpful.
