3d printer for statues?
Post Body

Hello, I'm new to 3d printing and this sub. I hope you can help me with this one.

Let me explain my background. I'm a tattooer and professional artist for12 years by now. I've been always doing sculptures in traditional clay etc. And recently moved on to vr sculpting and having a blast with it.

Due to adjusting my business more to the Corona circumstances, I was thinking about modeling in Vr, and later on print those statues and be able to sell them. My art style is mostly Biomechanical/horror orientated.

Personally I was thinking about making fewer, bigger and more unique ones than doing smaller ones and sell bigger amounts.

Size wise im personally thinking about doing sizes like 30 cm/12 inch

My budget is around 500 €/$ if there's a huge quality jump I would be willing to pay a bit more.

Would you have recommendations for me? I do have a friend of mine who's already good into 3d printing and I can learn from him the ins and outs, but his rog is to small and the quality isn't that fine for all the details my work requires. I don't remember what printer he currently uses.

Thanks for the answers and your time in advance.
